The Traveling Huntley's -- St. Thomas

We arrived at the port of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands at 8:30 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2012.  Within 20 minutes of our arrival there were two additional cruise ships docked.  As you might imagine, an influx of 3,000 to 4,000 people in this small port must make the jewelry store proprietors very happy.

International Diamonds, as you might suspect, one of  the busiest shops on the port.

The Oasis of the Sea docked adjacent to our ship. I think this is the ship that was shown in a video on the History Channel that showed how it was constructed, one of the largest cruise ships on the sea.

This picture is for my brother Jeff,  showing how air conditioners are installed down here...

The Celebrity Eclipse; Our stateroom is on the stern.

After a short shopping trip we headed back to the ship without any purchases.  Shirl said she did not see anything that struck her fancy.  Fortunately we hit another good shopping port tomorrow.
